Why industrial metrology?

Industrial metrology offers a range of possibilities that most people never think about. One thing is certain: everything can be measured, and above all, everything that is produced or manufactured is also inspected. From children's toys to electronic chips to toilet brushes, all products must comply with production specifications and undergo a testing process.

Dimensional accuracy, surface quality, density, weight, rigidity, and many other properties are tested on components. But industrial metrology is not intended exclusively for industry. The technology we use can also be applied in areas such as vehicle restoration, prototype construction, model making, reproduction of unavailable parts, and much more. Would you like a miniature model of your car? No problem. Your child’s baby tooth in the size of a bowling ball? Possible. Or simply reconstruct a damaged part for 3D printing? Overview of Possibilities

Accredited DAkkS Measurements

Our accreditation in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 allows us to carry out DAkkS measurements both in our own laboratories and on-site at your premises. By using our manual ATOS 5 12M system, we guarantee precise and reliable data and results.

Optical 3D Metrology  

Our optical measuring systems can capture a wide variety of components and are suitable for almost all materials and surfaces. Since they are also mobile, we can carry out measurements directly at your facility or in other suitable environments.

Photogrammetry

With our photogrammetry system, 3D coordinate points can be captured. These can be evaluated individually or serve as a basis for our optical measuring systems when larger components are involved.

Industrial Computed Tomography

With our CT technology, we can visualize not only the external structure but also voids (inclusions) inside a component. This allows us to thoroughly inspect your parts for defects, deviations, and dimensional accuracy.

ScanBox Programming

For an automated measurement process, precision and attention to detail are essential. When programming your ScanBox, we place equal emphasis on highly accurate data capture and time efficiency.

Roughness

Surface finish is a crucial quality characteristic for modern components. With our roughness probing systems, we reliably cover this important area as well.

Optical 2D Metrology

More and more components are being inspected not only for length and width, but also for possible burrs. These burrs can impair the function of a component. Precise detection and documentation provide the basis for process optimization and scrap reduction.

Quality Assurance

Our inspection and quality assurance solutions help you meet the high requirements for your components and finished products. At the same time, they enable you to design your production processes efficiently and reduce costs.

Surface Reconstruction

Transforming a real component into an exact CAD model requires expertise and high-resolution mesh data. We support you in this process with state-of-the-art equipment and know-how.
